H.A.R.T. (Holderness Area Rural Transport) is a registered Charity operating door to door dial-a-ride Community Transport services for North, Mid and South Holderness in East Yorkshire.
The Mission
'To provide a community transport service for the inhabitants of North Holderness and its neighbourhood who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness or disability (mental or physical), or poverty, or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger service'.
To achieve this HART run a number of services.
SERVICES
- MEDiBUS services include dial-a-ride transport to all the Hospitals, doctors, dentists and specialist clinics in Hull and East Yorkshire.
- MiBUS and Volunteer Shopping services operate from East Yorkshire villages to market towns and supermarkets in East Yorkshire
- Volunteer car services are available to anyone who doesn't have easy access to transport in Holderness, East Yorkshire
- Community Group minibus vehicles are available for use by for not for profit groups in East Yorkshire

Fares are comparable to conventional public transport. Bus passes can be used on MEDiBUS, MiBUS and Shopping services
H.A.R.T. Community Transport also have available a number of buses for Community Group use including:
- 1 x 12-seater minibus, with disabled and wheelchair access
- 6 x 16-seater minibuses, with disabled and wheelchair access
The minibuses can be used by community and voluntary groups in East Yorkshire with or without H.A.R.T. Community Transport driver.
VOLUNTEERS - Community Transport Drivers
All Community Transport drivers must first take the free MiDAS training and driving test. New Volunteer drivers are always welcome.
