What We Do..
The Friends of Vyners (FOV) role is to support the children in the school by way of raising additional funds for projects that are outside of the scope of existing funding. Since the creation of the FOV in the 1960’s it has raised huge sums of money that have been spent for the benefit of all pupils in the school past and present.
Recently the FOV have provided funds to roll out the Wi-Fi network in the school, made a substantial contribution to the running costs of the two school minibuses, funded artwork in the playground, supported the Seamus Foley Memorial Garden, provided much needed equipment for the duke of Edinburgh's award scheme and much more.
Who We Are..
The Friends of Vyners is you; all parents and teachers are automatically members whilst they have children at the school or are employed by the school. There is an executive committee of about a dozen parents and teachers, officers including a chairperson, treasurer and secretary, and many more regular and occasional helpers.
